Vinod Kumar

Vinod Kumar currently serves as the Chief Information Security Officer and Data Protection Officer at Paytm Money, where responsibilities include overseeing information and cybersecurity practices and ensuring compliance with the DPDPA. Prior to this role, Vinod held the position of Director, Global Head of Cyber Security Operations and GRC Practices at TMF Group, managing cyber security operations and regulatory controls. Vinod has also served as Vice President and Head of Cyber Security Operations at SBI Card, overseeing IT security operations and compliance, and was Deputy General Manager for Cyber Security Governance at HCL Technologies, focusing on risk management and governance. Earlier in the career, Vinod worked at MothersonSumi INfotech & Designs Ltd., leading the design and implementation of a Global Security Operations Center and managing Global Infrastructure and Network Security Division. Educational qualifications include an M.B.A. with a dual specialization in Information Technology and Marketing Management, and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, both from Punjab Technical University.
