Jason McLaine

Jason McLaine has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. Jason is currently working as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Payzer since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Philips from 2014 to 2021, holding roles such as DevOps Project Engineer, IaC Automation Team Lead, and Senior Systems Engineer. Jason also has experience working at Dell as a Systems Administrator Senior Advisor from 2013 to 2014, at Armstrong Group of Companies as a Senior Systems Administrator from 2011 to 2013, at IUP Research Institute as a Senior Systems Administrator from 2004 to 2011, and at Lockheed Martin as a Senior Systems Engineer/Administrator from 2000 to 2004.

Jason McLaine obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from PennWest Clarion, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Jason has obtained a number of certifications throughout their career. Jason became a Certified SAFe® 4 DevOps Practitioner and Certified SAFe® 4 Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in March 2019. In March 2017, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon. Jason also holds the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) and Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator (RHCSA) certifications from Red Hat, which they obtained in April 2013. Further, they are a VMware Certified Professional (VCP5) and VMware Certified Professional (VCP4), having obtained these certifications from VMware in October 2012 and March 2010, respectively. Jason's certification journey began in January 2003, with the attainment of the Red Hat Certified Technician (RHCT) certification from Red Hat.
