Barry Rivelis, ICD.D has a strong educational background in business and governance. In 1989, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Economics at York University. Subsequently, in 1992, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Strategy and Organizational Behavior from the Schulich School of Business at York University. In 2008, they obtained an Executive Certificate from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management through the Governance Essentials Program, specifically designed for Directors of Not-For-Profit Organizations. Continuing their commitment to professional development, Barry completed the Crown Directors Training Course at the Canadian School of Public Service in 2020. Most recently, in 2022, they engaged in the Directors Education Program at the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, where they obtained the prestigious ICD.D designation.
