Wouter Kool

Wouter Kool is an experienced professional in information management and ICT coordination, currently serving as the ICT Team Coordinator at PBL Planbureau voor de Leefomgeving since March 2024, overseeing the ICT environment and information security. Prior to this role, Wouter held various positions at Leiden University from May 2016 to March 2024, including Research Data and Information Manager and Privacy Officer, contributing to interdisciplinary research projects within the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs and the Faculty of Archaeology. Wouter's earlier experience includes roles as a Metadata Specialist at OCLC, Information Analyst and Digital Preservation Researcher at Koninklijke Bibliotheek, and several editorial and publishing positions in the academic and media sectors. Wouter holds a Master’s Degree in Classical Philology and Ancient History from Leiden University and completed VWO at Christelijk Gymnasium Utrecht.
