Additionally, Joyce has been a Project Manager at PBN Sport & Adventure since January 1994. Joyce holds a Master of Science in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, completed between 2014 and 2017. Prior education includes a Bachelor's degree from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, and earlier studies at RSG Wiringherlant, culminating in VWO.
