Pete Schwaba

On Air Host Of Independent Lens at PBS Wisconsin

Pete Schwaba is an experienced media professional with a diverse background in broadcasting, writing, and entertainment. Currently serving as an On Air Host for PBS Wisconsin's "Director's Cut," "Independent Lens," and "POV" since July 2013, Pete also has an extensive freelance career as a writer and director, along with stand-up comedy since 1999. Previous experience includes screenwriting for major studios such as MGM, Warner Brothers, Image Entertainment, Comcast, and Fox from 1999 to 2021. Additionally, Pete hosted "The Pete Schwaba Show" on WTMJ AM 620 from May 2016 to March 2020, where responsibilities included booking guests and creating original content. Pete holds a degree from DePaul University.
