CeCe Moore currently serves as the Chief Genetic Genealogist at Parabon since May 2018 and has been the Founder/CEO of The DNA Detectives since January 2014, focusing on genetic genealogy education and community support. Moore has contributed as the series genetic genealogist and producer on "Finding Your Roots with Henry Louis Gates, Jr." since June 2013 and has been involved with various media outlets as an independent contractor and science writer since 2010. Additionally, Moore has played a key role as the Regional Coordinator for Southern California for the International Society of Genetic Genealogy and has held advisory roles at 23andMe. With a background in online marketing and media production, Moore has demonstrated expertise in genetic genealogy through years of public engagement and education initiatives. Moore obtained a degree from the University of Southern California and completed high school at Mt Carmel High School.
