Margaret Ebrahim

Senior Director, Programming & Development

Margaret "Mishi" Ebrahim currently serves as the Senior Director of Programming & Development at PBS, a position held since 2016, where oversight includes unscripted and nonfiction series, documentary films, and the network's news portfolio, including renowned programs like FRONTLINE and PBS NewsHour. Previous experience includes roles such as Co-Executive Producer/Digital Series Producer at National Geographic Studios, where Margaret Ebrahim managed the re-launch of Explorer, and Senior Producer at the Investigative Reporting Workshop, overseeing documentary productions for PBS FRONTLINE and SHOWTIME. Earlier in her career, Margaret Ebrahim produced for Dan Rather Reports and CBS News 60 MINUTES, as well as serving as an Associate Producer at ABC News. Margaret Ebrahim holds a Bachelor of Arts in Latin American Studies and Spanish from Tulane University and a Master’s degree from American University’s School of International Service.
