Trip Jennings is an experienced director, filmmaker, and educator with a career spanning over two decades. Currently serving as the Director for PBS since August 2020, Trip directs the series Weathered, which explores extreme weather and climate issues. As the founder of Balance Media, a video production LLC established in June 2011, Trip collaborates with creative professionals to produce high-quality media across various formats. Previous roles include a UAV/Drone Camera Operator at Flyr Filmworks, a producer and cinematographer at EP Films, and a video producer for Perception Kayaks. Early career experiences include serving as an Outdoor Educator at Passages Adventure Camp. Trip holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Oregon and has furthered education at the Northwest Film Center.
