Charles J. Serra Sr.

Charles J. Serra Sr. is a seasoned audio engineer with extensive experience in live and taped productions across various prestigious networks, including PBS39, CBS Sports Network, Sportsnet New York, Fox News Channel, CNN, and more. Serving as the Sr. Audio Engineer at PBS39 since September 2018, Charles has handled significant projects such as election coverage and award-winning programs. Prior roles include freelance positions and a long tenure at Sportsnet New York as a Sr. Audio Engineer, where Charles trained numerous operators. Additionally, Charles has a background as a professional wide receiver in minor league football and the Italian Football League, earning induction into the Minor League Football Reports Hall of Fame in 2021. Charles holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Communication Arts from Suffolk County Community College.
