Laksiri began the career as a Software Engineer at Perfect Business Solution Services (Pvt) Ltd and worked as an IT Consultant for Lanka Television Network (Pvt) Ltd. Academically, Laksiri holds a Master of Information Technology from the University of Colombo, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Peradeniya, and a Diploma in Web Designing and Development from ESOFT Metro Campus.
