Jakes Steenkamp

Jakes Steenkamp is an experienced Information Technology professional currently serving as an Information Technology Manager at PBT Group since November 2013, where leadership of a skilled team ensures smooth operations and business continuity. As a Co-Founder and Director of Tenderlist since November 2017, Jakes also brings entrepreneurial expertise. Previously, Jakes held roles at Brandhouse Beverages (Pty) Ltd, including New Technology Specialist, where technology alignment with business strategy was key for growth and competitive advantage, as well as National Network Manager, overseeing a large MPLS network and server management. Earlier career experiences include IT service delivery management at Guinness United Distillers and Vintners and IT support roles at IS Digital Networks and Denel Aviation. Jakes holds a Diploma in Business Management from the University of Johannesburg and multiple IT certifications from Empire I.T and other institutions.
