Jan de Villiers

Jan de Villiers has extensive work experience across various industries and roles. Jan started their career as a Wedding Card Designer & Shop Assistant at Paper Paradise in 1996. Jan then worked at Old Mutual as a Quotations Clerk from 1998 to 2000, and later as an MIS Developer / MIS Administrator from 2000 to 2002. From 2002 to 2003, they worked at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Business Development Officer and Assistant Technical Officer. Jan then engaged in independent contracting and consulting for various clients, including Old Mutual, from 2004 to 2005. At Medway Marketing, they served as an IT Manager and IT Analyst from 2005 to 2010. Jan joined IQ Business in 2011 and worked as a Business Intelligence Technical Lead, Solutions Architect, and Analyst Developer for Shoprite until 2016. Currently, they are working at PBT Group as a Business Intelligence Consultant since 2016 and as the Head of PBT Cloud Academy from February 2022.

Jan de Villiers holds a Diploma in Business Analysis from the Faculty Training Institute, Cape Town. Jan also possesses a Certificate in Computer Graphics, DTP & Animation from Independent Learning Services, Cape Town. Jan has studied Film & Television Production at the Cape Town Film & Television School. Additionally, they earned a Senior Certificate with Matriculation Exemption from Huguenot High School in Wellington, South Africa. Jan has also obtained the PRINCE2 Foundation certification from APMG-International in 2013.
