Igor Korczagin

R&d Director at PCC Group

Igor Korczagin has a diverse and extensive work experience. Igor started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Twente in 2000 and worked there until 2004. Igor then joined Gdańsk University of Technology as an Assistant from 2005 to 2005. After that, they became a Senior Research Scientist at Imperial Chemical Industries from 2005 to 2007. Igor then worked at ICI Paints as a Development Team Leader, first from March 2007 to September 2007, and then from September 2007 to November 2008. At Akzo Nobel, they held the positions of R&D Technical Manager from November 2008 to December 2010 and EMEA Interior Wall Paint R&D Manager from January 2011 to October 2012. Igor then joined Selena Labs as the R&D Director of Sealants and Adhesives, where they were responsible for developing new products and managing international research teams. Igor also served as a member of the Board at Selena Labs. Since 2015, Igor has been working as the R&D Director at PCC Group. In 2017, they also became a member of the Committee of Chemistry at Polska Akademia Nauk, a position they held until June 2020.

Igor Korczagin earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Twente in 2004. Igor also received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Uniwersytet WSB Merito Wrocław between 2018 and 2020. Igor completed a course in Management of Employees' Potential at Uniwersytet SWPS in 2015-2016. Igor obtained an MSc in Environment Protection and Chemistry from Gdańsk University of Technology from 1995 to 2000. Prior to that, Igor attended Downside School from 1993 to 1995.
