Miguel Pontes

Miguel Pontes serves as the Automation & Engineering Design Manager at PCE Automation since September 2025, leading multidisciplinary teams to create innovative automation solutions. Prior to this role, Miguel held multiple positions at ATB Group UK Ltd, including Chief Mechanical Engineer, overseeing a team of 10 Mechanical Design Engineers, and Senior Mechanical Engineer, focusing on mechanical design analysis for High Voltage Induction Motors. Experience also includes roles as a Design and Project Engineer at TORROS LIMITED and Senior Mechanical Engineer at MSF Technologies, where Miguel developed mechanical solutions for energy systems. Earlier positions include Mechanical Design Engineer at Trend Marine Products, Technical Manager at Timberwolf UK, and Project Engineer at Sanstec Design, among others. Miguel holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Coimbra, FCTUC.
