Peter Y.

Peter Y. began their work experience in 2003 as an Information Technology Analyst (Co-op) at Enwave Energy Corporation. Peter then worked as a Satellite Analyst (Co-op) at Environment Canada in 2003-2004. In 2005, they worked as a Medical Imaging Research Student (Co-op) at the Hospital for Sick Children. Peter then took on a role as a 3D Software Developer (Co-op) at Side Effects Software in 2006. In 2009-2010, they worked as a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo, where they conducted research, developed advanced computer vision algorithms, and improved the stability and performance of existing codebase. Peter joined Merge Healthcare as a Software Developer in 2010-2011. Finally, they have been working at PCI Geomatics since 2011, starting as a Software Developer and later advancing to the role of Senior Software Developer.

Peter Y. has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Peter also holds a Master of Applied Science degree in the same field from the same university. Additionally, they obtained a Project Management Certificate from the University of Toronto School of Continuing Studies in 2018.
