Demet YUCEL

Demet YUCEL has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles.

In 2005, Demet started with trainee positions at Mercedes Benz Türk A.Ş. and Japan Tobacco International.

From 2006 to 2019, Demet worked at Fintek, where they held various positions, including Junior Test Specialist, Business Development Specialist, Senior Business Analyst, and Senior Demand and Portfolio Management Specialist. In these roles, they were responsible for tasks such as testing software, assisting project managers on IT investment projects, and conducting feasibility studies and requirement management for operational excellence projects.

In 2012, Demet joined Yapı Kredi as a Senior Business Analyst in the IT Core Banking Analysis department. Later on, they took on the role of Project Analyst and eventually became the Product Owner and Team Leader of the Teller Line Transactions and Foreign Trades Analysis teams. In this role, they were responsible for creating product backlogs, prioritizing stakeholder needs, and maximizing business value.

Most recently, in 2022, Demet joined PCI Pal as a Product Owner, where they are currently employed.

Demet Yucel has a background in both Business Information Systems and Industrial Engineering. Demet attended Boğaziçi University from 2007 to 2008, where they obtained a degree in Business Information Systems. Prior to that, they studied Industrial Engineering at Eskişehir Osmangazi Üniversitesi from 2002 to 2006, although the specific degree earned during this period is not stated.

In addition to their formal education, Demet Yucel has also obtained a certification as a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org in December 2021.
