Emma Salmon

Emma Salmon has diverse work experience in the engineering field. Emma currently works as a Process Engineer at PCI Pharma Services, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, Emma held two roles at the University of Pittsburgh. Emma served as an Engineering Ambassador, mentoring incoming students, presenting at student panels, and promoting the benefits of studying engineering. Emma also worked as an iGEM Summer Research Intern, collaborating with a team to develop a proof of concept for colon cancer detection. Before their time at the university, Emma worked as a Summer Intern at PCB Piezotronics, where they shadowed engineers, conducted data entry, learned software programs, and created procedure guides.

Emma Salmon attended the University of Pittsburgh from 2018 to 2022, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
