Karima Dean, MPS has a diverse work experience. Karima started their career as a Retail Sales Supervisor at MACY'S BACKSTAGE, INC. in April 2019 and transitioned to becoming a Merchandise Team Lead at Macy's in July 2019. In March 2021, they joined PCLaw | Time Matters as a Help Desk Operator and later moved up to the role of Customer Support Specialist in June 2022. Additionally, they served as the Chairperson at the Monet Richardson Community Foundation from July 2021 to June 2022, where they dedicated herself to enhancing the educational experiences of students and teachers through collaboration and innovative partnerships.

Karima Dean pursued their education starting in 2014 at North Carolina Central University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with a focus on Apparel and Textiles. From 2018 to 2019, they attended LIM College, where they pursued a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Retail Management and concentrated their studies in the field of Fashion/Apparel Design/Fashion Merchandising.
