Cynthia Claasen

Cynthia Claasen is an experienced educational professional with a strong background in both teaching and research. Currently serving as an intern begeleider and as a leerkracht basisonderwijs/gedragsspecialist at PCOU Willibrord since January 2015, Cynthia has also held roles such as onderzoeker at Werkplaats Onderwijsonderzoek Utrecht, facilitating the connection between theory and educational practice from October 2016 to October 2020. Prior to these positions, Cynthia contributed to the Nederlands Jeugdinstituut as a projectmedewerker, focusing on enhancing the quality of youth and parenting sectors, and completed internships as a leerkracht at CBS De Piramide and PCB De Stromen. With a diverse educational background, including a Master’s degree in Orthopedagogiek and a Master's in Youth Studies, Cynthia combines expertise in pedagogy, psychology, and effective youth intervention strategies.
