Ed Ryan has a diverse work experience in the field of IT. Ed started their career as a Manager/Network Specialist/Instructor at Boston University - Metropolitan College, where they managed technical operations for multiple training sites and was responsible for planning and installing authorized software and hardware. Ed then worked as a Network Manager at Sanmina, where they managed a team of desktop support specialists and oversaw LAN/WAN and voice communication between corporate sites. Later, they served as an Information Technology Manager at Jabil, where they were responsible for managing IT teams, project management, technical support, and implementing IT policies. After that, they worked as an IT Consultant at EMR Information Systems LLC, leading customer IT projects and providing daily support for desktops, networks, and servers. Ed also performed network installations and managed LAN and WAN devices. Prior to that, they worked as a Lan Admin at Pomeroy, providing technical support for Windows OS, Dell PCs, and SCCM clients. Ed then joined Verizon Enterprise Solutions as a Tech Analyst-Tech Support and supported Windows desktop OS, Dell PCs, SCCM clients, and McAfee Anti-Virus. In their most recent role as a Team Lead II at Stefanini, they managed a desktop support team, performed technical hands-on support, project management, and break-fix support for laptops, desktops, printers, and networks. Currently, they are working as a Senior Consultant at PCS International.
Ed Ryan earned a Certificate in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Boston University Metropolitan College, completing the program from 1993 to 1995. In addition, they obtained the ITIL® v3 Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice in March 2016.
