Chris Poelma

From mobile software founder to CEO and Board Director of PCS Software, Chris Poelma spent more than three decades developing innovative, high-growth businesses in the technology industry.

Prior to joining PCS, Chris was President and General Manager of NCR Small Business, driving growth in cloud-based, point-of-sale solutions, and pioneering technology advancement and adoption in the financial tech industry.

Before his tenure with NCR, Chris founded QwikCart®, an innovative mobile software company providing businesses and consumers access to powerful retailing, transportation, and entertainment solutions. Chris was also co-founder and CTO for US Internetworking (now AT&T Enterprise Application Services) and helped take that company public.

Masterful in the art of driving successful startups. Chris successfully led five startup software companies to successful liquidity events as CEO, including ControlPath, Comprehensive Software Systems (CSS), and Magellan Network. Additionally, Chris has held executive roles within industry giants, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems, and EDS. Over the course of his career, Chris has closed over $70 Million in private equity.

Chris holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Wyoming.
