Kenneth W. Fagerlund

Kenneth W. Fagerlund has a long and varied work experience. Kenneth W. began their career in 2001 as a Fighter Pilot for the United States Air Force. In 2003, they moved to Spherion Professional Services as a Network & Systems Administrator. In 2005, they held two positions: Systems Technician (Field Technician) at Computers & Networks Unlimited and Business Owner/Operator at U.C. Data Solutions. In 2006, they joined SunGard Financial Systems (now part of FIS) as a Business Continuity /DR Coordinator and Systems Administrator II. In 2016, they moved to PCS as a Senior Solutions Engineer and Systems Engineer. In 2019, they returned to Sungard Availability Services as a Client Services Principal. Most recently, in 2022, they assumed the role of Technical Architect (Cloud Azure & AWS) at Sungard Availability Services.

Kenneth W. Fagerlund obtained their Private Aircraft Pilot certification from the Federal Aviation Administration in November 1999. Kenneth W. then attended the United States Air Force Test Pilot School from 2000 to 2002. Kenneth W. continued their education at Cumberland County College, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Network Management and Security in 2003. In 2004, they obtained their Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows Server 2003 (MCSE) certification from Microsoft. In 2010, they obtained their Certified Virtualization Expert (CVE4 #002490) certification from VMTraining and their Certification - VMWare ESX4.0 from The Network Learning Institute. In 2012, they obtained their Certified Business Continuity Professional certification from Disaster Recovery Institute International. In 2014, they earned their Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology and Security from Baker College of Flint. In 2018, they obtained their VCP 6.5 certification from VMware IT Academy. Kenneth W. has also obtained their Microsoft Azure Administrator certification from Microsoft in July 2022 and their AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in December 2019.
