Nick Lazaro

Nick Lazaro has extensive experience in various leadership roles within the technology industry.

Starting in 1993, Lazaro served as the Production Test Manager at Netrix Corporation, where they were responsible for Test Engineering, Production Testing, and Repair Depot. Nick developed test strategies, determined testability of new products, and oversaw budgeting, calibration, and ISO 9002 audits.

In 1998, Lazaro became the Director of Operations at Netrix Corporation's Charlotte, NC facility. In this role, they managed sales order fulfillment and New Product Introduction, and served as the principal contact for technical production issues and OEM relationships. Nick also developed the testing and assembly process for a complex multi-PCA network switch.

In 2001, Lazaro joined Megisto Systems as the Director of Manufacturing Test. Nick led the effort for all testability, manufacturability, and production processes for a multi-PCA networking product. Nick also managed three Contract Manufacturers for prototyping, assembly, testing, and quality assurance.

Lazaro then moved to PCTEL in 2003, where they held several positions over the years. Nick started as the Director of Quality, Test, and Lifecycle Management, responsible for New Product Introductions, ISO 9001:2008 Quality System and training, design and manufacturing process re-engineering, test engineering and strategy, certifications, compliance, and vendor selection and management. Nick also qualified and managed new EMS for new PCA designs and authored manufacturing guidelines and environmental tests for design verification.

At PCTEL, Lazaro then took on the role of Director of Quality and Technical Support. Nick maintained their responsibilities from their previous position and added the management of the Technical Support Department and all development projects. Nick developed policies, procedures, and authority for the Technical Support Department, improved the use of call tracking system and customer feedback, and developed troubleshooting dialog and guides for product lines. Nick also developed the Quality System and key performance indicators for the Test Services division.

Currently, Lazaro serves as the Vice President of Operations at PCTEL, overseeing the overall operations of the company.

Throughout their career, Lazaro has demonstrated strong leadership abilities and a solid understanding of quality assurance, testing, production processes, and vendor management in the technology industry.

Nick Lazaro received their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Stony Brook University, where they studied from 1984 to 1986. Nick then pursued a Masters degree in Engineering Management at The George Washington University, completing their studies from 1993 to 1995.
