Umesh Navsariwala

Umesh Navsariwala has a strong background in antenna engineering, with a focus on smart antennas for MIMO systems. Umesh started their career in 1998 as a Senior Research Engineer at Amphenol T&M Antennas, where they worked until 1999. In 1999, Umesh joined Motorola as a Principal Staff Engineer, where they designed smart antennas for various applications such as WiMAX, LTE, and IEEE802.11n. Umesh worked at Motorola for 17 years until 2016. Currently, Umesh is employed at PCTEL, where they hold the position of Director of Antenna Engineering since September 2018.

Umesh Navsariwala pursued their education in the field of Electrical Engineering. Umesh received their B.Tech. degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, graduating between 1987 and 1991. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Kentucky and completed their MSEE degree between 1991 and 1993. Continuing their academic journey at the University of Kentucky, Umesh then obtained their Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, graduating between 1993 and 1998.
