Amila Welikala began their work experience in 2008 as a Junior Software Developer at John Keells Computer Services Pvt. Ltd. They then joined Jaguar Land Rover in 2011 as a Software Developer, where they worked until 2013. Finally, Amila joined PDC A/S in 2013 as a Developer, and their employment at this company is ongoing.
Amila Welikala began their education at D.S. Senanayake College in 1995, where they completed their primary and secondary education. Amila later enrolled at the University of Westminster in 2006 and pursued a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree in Software Engineering. After completing their undergraduate studies in 2009, Amila attended the University of Birmingham from 2009 to 2011 and obtained a Master of Science degree in Internet Software Systems.
