Ming Zhang has a diverse work experience that spans across various companies and roles. Ming currently holds the position of Vice President of R&D Acceleration at PDF Solutions. In addition, they serve as a Board Member at Wave Photonics and is an Advisory Board Member at InchFab. Previously, Ming worked at Synopsys Inc as a Distinguished Architect in both the EDA Group and the Strategy & System Architects Group. Prior to that, they were the Co-founder and CEO of zGlue, where they developed innovative solutions for optimized and secure chip integration. Ming also held positions at Samsung Electronics as Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer, as well as at Intel Corporation as a Senior Staff Architect. Throughout their career, Ming Zhang has been involved in strategic partnerships, technology development, and has amassed over 15 US patents.
Ming Zhang earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Peking University in 1999. From 1999 to 2001, they pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Subsequently, they continued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and obtained a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 2006.
