Chereen Zaki has an extensive work experience spanning from 2012 to 2022. In 2012, they worked as a Writer, Researcher, and Editor for Forbes Magazine, where they wrote viral front-page articles and collaborated with Washington Bureau Chief Editor Janet Novack. Chereen then moved to VIBE International as a Regional Marketing Manager, where they managed client-agency relationships with notable clients such as Qatar 2022 and Qatar Cancer Society. In 2013, they became a Partner at Tavalon Tea Middle East, where they were in charge of Business Development, Strategy, and Marketing. In 2016, they joined YouNow, Inc. as a Regional Market Manager, where they restructured brand, growth, and content-marketing strategy for the MENA market. Chereen increased the region's daily active users by 300% and new registered users by 30K in 4 months. In 2017, they became the Director of Marketing and Branding at International Medical Consultants. In 2019, they worked as an Innovation Lab Brand and Content Consultant at the International Monetary Fund. Finally, in 2020, they joined mdg as a Marketing Account Director, and in 2022, they were appointed as the Director of Marketing, Healthcare at Edcetera.

Chereen Zaki began their educational career in 2003 when they attended The American University in Cairo. Chereen graduated in 2007 with a B.A. cum laude in Journalism/Mass Communications. In 2009, they enrolled at Georgetown University and completed their M.A. in Culture, Communication, and Technology in 2011. During their studies at Georgetown, they also completed a Certificate from The Graduate Institute of Geneva in Technology, Trade, and Development in 2010.
