Francesco Paolo Appio, PhD, HDR, is currently a Full Professor of Innovation at the Paris School of Business since January 2023. Appio serves on several editorial and scientific committees, including as an Editorial Board Member for Long Range Planning and as a Scientific Committee Member for multiple conferences such as the Digital Transformation Society Conference 2024 and the International Conference on Digital Transformation and Innovation Management. Additionally, Appio holds positions as an Affiliate Professor at the Interdisciplinary Center on Sustainability and Climate at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and as a member of the Scientific Committee at the AI Management Institute at Abu Dhabi School of Management. Appio's academic credentials include a Habilitation à diriger des recherches from Université Paris-Saclay, a PhD in Management from Scuola Superiore 'Sant' Anna' di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento, and a degree in Management Engineering from Politecnico di Bari. Appio has also been recognized as a Fellow by the Research Network on Innovation and PDMA - Product Development and Management Association.
