Jonathan Mendoza

Jonathan Mendoza is an accomplished professional in machine learning and engineering, currently serving as Vice President at PDT Partners since April 2023. Previously, Jonathan worked at Facebook as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer from August 2020 to March 2023 and held the position of Machine Learning Scientist at Goldman Sachs between February 2019 and August 2020. Additionally, Jonathan was a Machine Learning Engineer at Cloud9 Technologies, LLC from February 2018 to February 2019, primarily focused on enhancing deep learning models for Automatic Speech Recognition and integrating textual data with statistical language models for automation and analytics. Jonathan possesses an extensive educational background from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering in 2017, a Master's degree in 2014, and a Bachelor's degree in 2011.
