Mike Elliott

Michael Elliott has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Michael started their career as an Equipment Room Technician Lead at Ex'pression College in 2008. Michael then worked as an Audio Engineer at B-Sides On-Air and later joined Into the Woods as a Cameraman, Editor, Producer, and Audio Engineer. In 2013, they took on the role of Video Editor, Behind the Scenes Director, and Editor at Bent Image Lab, where they worked on commercial and longer format video content. Michael also worked as a Cinematographer at SHOHAWK MEDIA, LLC and as a Video Editor, Content Manager, and Front End Web Developer at Dawson Media Group. In 2021, they became the Rental Manager at Pro Photo Supply, where they supervised a team and managed a rental fleet for cameras and equipment. Currently, they are working as a Systems Engineer and Animation Editor at Bent Image Lab, where they maintain network systems and edits VFX animations for Sony's Feature Length film: Harold & the Purple Crayon. Additionally, they have experience as a Tech Coordinator at PDX Pop Now! and as the Owner/Operator of Fieldnotes Media. Michael is skilled in various software tools, including Adobe After Effects, ProTools, Adobe Premiere Pro, and DiVinci Resolve.

Michael Elliott studied full stack development at Alchemy Code Lab from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science with a focus on film, cinema, and video studies from SAE Expression College between 2005 and 2008. Michael's educational journey began at Seattle Central College, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in computer science from 2001 to 2004.
