Simon Habtu

Simon Habtu has experience working as a Backend Developer at PE Accounting, where they are expected to start in 2023. Simon is also the Founder and Software Engineer at Habtu Consulting AB, a company they founded in 2021. Prior to that, Simon worked as a Backend Developer at Swish (Getswish AB) from 2021 to 2023. Simon worked as a Software Engineer at Spotify from 2018 to 2021. During that period, they also worked as a Developer Intern. In 2018, Simon worked as a Master Thesis student at Visma. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at Starcom in 2017 and as a System Administrator at MTAB Group from 2015 to 2017. Simon also started their career working as a Salesman at mySafety Försäkringar AB and Flexibla Människor Bemanning in 2012 and 2013, respectively.

Simon Habtu completed their secondary education in Datorteknik at NTI-Gymnasiet Odenplan in 2013. Following that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Technology (IT) from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in 2016 and then went on to complete their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Software Engineering at the same institution between 2016 and 2018.
