Jennifer holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Harvard Law School, earned between 1986 and 1989, and possesses dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Government and Foreign Affairs, as well as American Government and Politics (United States) from the University of Virginia, completed in May 1986.
