Peabody School
Erica R. has a diverse background in education, with experience as a Lower School Spanish Teacher at Peabody School and previous roles at St. Anne's-Belfield School. Erica has also held positions as a Middle School Coordinator of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Residential Life Faculty, and Learning Village Coordinator of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives. Erica has taught Spanish at various grade levels and has experience in departmental leadership. Erica has a Master's Degree in Bilingual Bicultural Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Literary and Cultural Studies, Latin American Studies from Occidental College.

Peabody provides instruction specially tailored to meet the students’ cognitive, social, and emotional needs. Peabody values the transformational growth that is achieved when faculty, staff and students experience the joy of learning together. Intellectually advanced students possess unique cognitive, social, and emotional needs that may require a learning environment designed specifically for their learning characteristics. The most effective educational experience for many highly able learners is in a full-time program with their intellectual peers led by highly competent teachers who utilize curricular activities and instruction specially tailored to meet students' learning needs. Peabody meets these needs for students in grades Pre-K through 8th Grade.
