Alexa Salerno

Alexa Salerno is a dedicated political science student at St. John's University, actively involved in various leadership roles, including President of the university's chapter of Peace Action New York State and a member of the Political Science Honor Society, Pi Sigma Alpha, and the University Honors Program. As a Student Ambassador, Alexa represents the university during campus tours and events, enhancing prospective students' understanding of campus culture. Experience includes a Judicial Intern at the Queens County Supreme Court and a Correspondence Intern at the NYC Office of the Mayor, where message crafting and casework acceleration were key responsibilities. Previous roles at the office of State Senator John E. Brooks and Fiveable as a Teacher's Assistant further demonstrate a strong commitment to public service and education. Alexa's educational journey began at Wantagh Senior High School, culminating in a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Political Science and Government, anticipated in June 2025.
