Daniel Garrastazu is a dedicated professional with diverse experience in education and legal support. Currently serving as a Teaching English as a Foreign Language Specialist with the Peace Corps since April 2024, Daniel co-plans and teaches English at an institution serving over 2,800 students and leads weekly sessions in a rural community. Previously, Daniel worked as an Immigration Paralegal at Ogletree Deakins, focusing on non-immigrant visa processes for major business clients, and as a Pro-Bono Consultant for SOSOrinoco, where efforts supported members operating under anonymity in Venezuela. Daniel's earlier experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at Florida International University, researching judicial corruption in Central America. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science in International Relations and Affairs from Georgetown University, complemented by studies at the University of Strasbourg and a foundational education at Belen Jesuit Preparatory School.
