Joel Adriance

Joel Adriance is an experienced professional in international development and education, currently serving as the Director of Programming & Training at Peace Corps Colombia since June 2022. In this role, Joel leads a 20-person team to manage programs that support over 100 volunteers, focusing on education, entrepreneurship, and financial inclusion in both the Caribbean coast and Andean region. Previously, as an Independent Consultant at JA Consulting from January 2021 to June 2022, Joel provided expertise on youth development and corporate social responsibility. A former Director of Training & Learning at the International Youth Foundation, Joel has over a decade of experience in designing and overseeing impactful youth programs across multiple regions. Joel also contributed to educational policy research in Mexico as a Research Assistant and offered management support for international development projects. Joel holds an Ed.M. in International Education Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a BA in Foreign Affairs with a focus on Latin American Studies from the University of Virginia.
