Katie Green has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Katie started their career at the Association of State and Territorial Health Official (ASTHO) as a consultant, where they researched and wrote issue briefs on HIV surveillance. Katie then joined the Peace Corps, where they held various positions, including Program & Training Specialist, Youth Development, and Expert Consultant. During their time at the Peace Corps, Katie supported the agency's initiatives on host country volunteerism and youth development and designed training packages for Peace Corps Volunteers worldwide. Additionally, they served as the Director of Programming and Training in Rwanda. Katie also worked at Making Cents International as a Team Member/Consultant and Consultant/Co-Champion, where they focused on youth assessments and community engagement. Currently, they are working as the Chief of Programming and Training in the Inter-America and Pacific Region at the Peace Corps. Katie's expertise lies in program development, training, and youth development.

Katie Green earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology/Sociology (gender) from the University of Vermont in 1994. Katie later pursued a Master of International Affairs degree in International Development from Columbia | SIPA, completing their studies in 2001.
