Ron Johnson

Ron Johnson has extensive experience in community economic development and youth program management. Currently serving as a Community Economic Development Facilitator with the Peace Corps since April 2023, Ron collaborates with local stakeholders to enhance economic opportunities through entrepreneurship initiatives. As Executive Director of Esteem Engine, Inc. since 2006, Ron oversees youth development programs aimed at fostering positive character values and life skills in children. Prior experience includes significant roles at Standard & Poor's as a Director, where Ron analyzed capital markets and managed risk, and at Citi as an Assistant Vice President, specializing in credit and financial analysis. Ron's earlier career includes a Management Accountant position at Brown & Williamson Tobacco and a Business Development Specialist role with the Peace Corps. Educationally, Ron holds a BA in Accounting from Morehouse College and an MBA in Finance from Clark Atlanta University.
