Rylie Larue

Peace Corps TEFL Volunteer at Peace Corps

Rylie LaRue is currently serving as a Peace Corps TEFL Volunteer, where Rylie facilitates English language instruction and develops dynamic lesson plans at a local high school. Prior experience includes roles as a Sparta After School Programmer at Western Youth Network, where Rylie designed engaging activities, and as Administrative Manager, Social Media Manager, and other positions at The Alleghany News, enhancing community connections and improving operational efficiency. Rylie has also been involved in community engagement initiatives, such as planning educational events for the Town of Chapel Hill. Rylie earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Peace, War, and Defense from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as an ENEC Minor. Additional educational experiences include studying at Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici and completion of an Associate's degree from Wilkes Community College.
