Evans Gacheru Kimani PhD is an experienced academic and practitioner in disaster management, risk reduction, and sustainable development. Currently serving as an Adjunct Faculty at the Cooperative University of Kenya and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology, Evans contributes as a researcher, mentor, and lecturer. As Area Manager for Dadaab at Peace Winds, leadership in humanitarian and development programs is provided, focusing on protection, resilience, and community relations. Previous roles include Program Manager at AL-KHAIR FOUNDATION, Development and Humanitarian Director at the International Centre for Research and Development, and various positions in training and project coordination.
