Davit Unusyan is an experienced legal professional currently serving as an Avocat at HR Legal since September 2023. Davit co-founded and directs KOMITAS ASBL while also volunteering internationally with the PeaceJam Foundation, coordinating youth mentors since September 2016. Previous roles include Avocat at Fieldfisher from March 2020 to August 2023, Avocat at Van Olmen & Wynant from August 2018 to March 2020, and Avocat at Claeys & Engels from 2017 to 2018, specializing in employment law. Davit gained early experience as an Assistant Project at Accenture and as a legal intern at Iuris Avocats. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Economic and Employment Law from Université libre de Bruxelles and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the same institution, complemented by studies at Université catholique de Louvain and CinéCours.

PeaceJam Foundation
The mission of the PeaceJam Foundation is to create young leaders committed to positive change in themselves, their communities and the world through the inspiration of Nobel Peace Laureates who pass on the spirit, skills, and wisdom they embody. Half of the world’s population is under the age of twenty. Most youth do not yet identify themselves as people who can generate greatness in the world and many young people are plagued with overwhelming feelings of hopelessness and powerlessness that transcend racial, political, and economic boundaries. The PeaceJam Foundation was founded in 1996 in Denver, Colorado to address this need. PeaceJam provides year-long, ongoing educational programs for youth ages 5-25. The participating Nobel Peace Laureates are directly involved in developing the curriculum and the program itself. PeaceJam is the only organization in the world which has so many Nobel Peace Laureates working together long-term for a common cause – our youth. The PeaceJam Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with no political or religious affiliations.
