Charles Talbert

Charles Talbert is currently the Director of Corporate Communications at Peachtree Hotel Group. Prior to this, they were with Regency Centers from January 2005 to December 2007 as the Senior Manager, Controller. There, they co-managed the Real Estate Accounting Group with around 80 professionals. Charles was also in charge of day-to-day activities, directed 15 department heads in 3 regions, gave managers more control over specialty areas, provided oversight and accountability for all financial activities, improved training and reporting, and managed relationships with regional officers, property managers, joint venture and financial services executives. Under their leadership, the standardization and flow of information among regions improved and financial activities were completed on time and accurately.

From January 2008 to December 2014, Talbert served as the Senior Director of Investor and Corporate Communications at International Speedway Corporation (NASCAR). In this role, they were responsible for leading the development and execution of corporate communications strategies to enhance NASCAR's reputation and build positive relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, Wall Street analysts, media, government officials and other influencers. Charles also managed all aspects of NASCAR's investor relations program, including developing and executing strategies to communicate NASCAR's financial story to the investment community and increasing visibility with key target audiences.

Charles Talbert has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Finance from Georgia State University and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Marketing from Auburn University.
