Prior to this, Darren served as Chief Technical Architect at UnderwriteMe from September 2012 to May 2020, where Darren led the architectural design of the UK's only life insurance aggregator, facilitating 20-30% of the UK life market sales through various insurers. Darren's career also includes significant roles as Technical Architect at AIG Life Ltd, Senior Developer at Friends Provident Life and Pensions, and Senior Software Engineer at Philips and Digital Channel Partners, showcasing a strong foundation in software engineering and technical architecture since entering the field in 1999 with a focus on web development and digital marketing.
