Emily Hughes PT, DPT, is a skilled physical therapist with a diverse background in various clinical settings. Currently serving as a Physical Therapist at Peak Physical Therapy and Sports Performance since April 2023, Emily previously gained valuable experience at Indigo Physiotherapy—where mentorship in Women's Health and Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy was emphasized—and at CARSON VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER as a Student Physical Therapist, managing a diverse patient caseload. Additional clinical experience includes positions at FOX Rehabilitation, Strive Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation, and serving as a Physical Therapy Aide in different facilities. Emily holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Loyola University Maryland. Combined with a foundation in yoga, Emily integrates holistic approaches into patient care, fostering overall well-being and rehabilitation.

Whether you’re an athlete who has suffered a sports injury, or you’re trying to recover from lower back pain or knee surgery, Peak PT can get you back to what you like doing most: living life!! Our therapists are highly dedicated professionals with a high value put on continuing education and evidenced-based treatment resulting in optimum, cost-efficient outcomes. We are heavily involved in the communities we serve through many volunteer opportunities and believe education is key. We have 11 offices in Norwell, Scituate, Hanover, Pembroke, Braintree, Cohasset, East Bridgewater and Quincy. In addition we have 3 off-site aquatic programs in Weymouth, Scituate and Hanover, and two private Pelvic Health Suites in Scituate and Norwell. In addition we have recently opened a pediatric center in Braintree. Patient care is always number one for us, and we place high value on caring for our employees who are truly the heart and soul of of our mission and values.
