Tom Hassall

Tom Hassall started their work experience as an Intern at Rawwater Engineering Company Limited in 2006. Tom then moved on to work as a Research Scientist at Sonomatic Limited in 2014, focusing on Python/Matlab analysis of ultrasonic signals. In 2017, Tom transitioned to Peak, where they started as a Data Scientist before moving up to become the Data Science Team Leader, and eventually, the Head of CPG and Manufacturing Data Science in 2022. Prior to these roles, they also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southampton, focusing on data analysis with Python and Matlab in the field of pulsars and radio transients.

Tom Hassall completed their MPhys degree in Physics at The University of Manchester from 2004 to 2008. Tom then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Astrophysics at the same institution from 2008 to 2012.
