Wheeler Gans

Wheeler Gans has accumulated extensive experience in engineering and design, currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Peak Design since September 2018, where previous roles included Senior Design Engineer and Design Engineer. Prior to this, Wheeler co-led the electronics design and development for Sofar Ocean as an Electrical Design Engineer, contributing to the Spotter device project. In addition to co-founding Accubeacon, a startup focused on improving avalanche beacons, Wheeler has held various roles in test engineering and systems design through internships at Skybox Imaging and Terra Bella, as well as leading student projects under the Colorado Space Grant Consortium. Wheeler holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
