Mark Elvin

Head of Cell Science at Peak Proteins

Mark Elvin is a Principal Scientist and Head of Cell Science at Peak Proteins since October 2020. Prior to this role, Mark served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The University of Manchester from September 2002 to September 2020, and also held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position as well as a part-time lecturer at the University of Huddersfield from October 2001 to July 2002. Mark earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbial Biochemistry from the University of Huddersfield between 1998 and 2001 and holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Microbiology, General, obtained from the same institution from 1995 to 1998. Mark's foundational education was completed at Mexborough Comprehensive School.
