Colin Summers

Colin Summers is an experienced engineering professional with a background in project management and business improvement, currently serving as an Engineering Planner at Peak Scientific since January 2021. Previously, at Rolls-Royce from August 1996 to June 2017, Colin held various roles including Head of Projects and Business Improvement, where accountability extended to all site projects and improvement activities across MRO. Additional roles included Project Manager, Manufacturing Engineer, Project Team Lead, Project Engineer, and Engineering Inspector, with responsibilities ranging from managing factory transformation projects to developing repair schemes and designing cutting-edge facilities. Colin began the career with an Engineering Apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce from August 1992 to February 1996 and holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Industrial Management from the University of the West of Scotland, completed in 2010.
