Joe N Smith serves as the General Manager of Hornet Sports Properties at Alabama State University since May 2022. Previously, Joe held positions including Account Executive of Hornet Sports Properties at New York Life Insurance Company and Admissions Counselor at Eastern Illinois University. Joe’s experience also includes roles in corporate sponsorships and event operations at Peak Sports MGMT and Eastern Illinois University, as well as internships with the Chillicothe Mudcats and OVC Digital Network, where responsibilities ranged from video production to marketing and social media management. Joe earned a Master of Science in Sport Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Sports Management from Eastern Illinois University.
